schuhwerk draws on the accoustic language of materials to create states. The shoe is made of cardboard and paper, and refers to former use of the
exhibition site as a shoe factory. The sounds produced during its manufacture serve as the accoustic material for this "headspace" intervention. The recordings are best experienced over
headphones, allowing the accoustic events to form own perceptions and new spaces in the mind.
