This work relates to the former usage of the exhibition space as a branch of the Post AG. In this former postal office, people used to post thousands of congratulations, requests and the like, and by doing so hopefully did not – according to Karl Kraus – “give up” their letters. In this spirit, the closed down postal office is now graced by a lettering which has been “translated” to an international farewell by the use of local color.
