Analysis of time as a phenomenon and the relationship between time and image, specifically the intended continuation and stoppage of images form the basis for this work - a transformation of my self portrait into fragmentary pictures. The self portrait is transmitted by a camera onto a monitor, and then photographed using different shutter speeds. Trough morphing, the different resolutions and interferences of the individual pictures are transformed into each other, and after calculating new transitions, translated into a filmic sequence. Minimal changes in light, colour, form and interference can be perceived, disrupted by these rhythm-setting interventions into the temporal structure.
